Farewell to Manzanar is a novel connected to the internment of Japanese Americans in WW2. Today we started a research project connected to a topic from the novel. The objective of the assignment is to learn APA documentation style and referencing procedure. Tomorrow is the quiz on chapters 1-4 inclusive. You may bring in a study guide (cheat sheet) :)

Prefixes and suffixes for vocabulary words are important to understand as it will give you the meaning of the word very quickly if you know the definition of the prefix or suffix. Open Heart frame and essay outline were discussed today. Tomorrow we start writing. Prefix assignment is due Wednesday.
